X-WR-CALDESC:BetterLife's Walk to End Hunger will be in Lincoln\, NE on Sun
 day\, August 8th. We'll be walking from 5pm-8pm at the Pius X Football Sta
 dium! BetterLife's Lincoln location has chosen St. Francis Food Pantry (th
 e CSS Lincoln food market program) as the hunger relief cause. Choose the 
 distance you want to walk and enjoy games and a food truck. If you're not 
 much of a walker yourself\, you have the option to drive through\, donate 
 10 lbs of food or $10.00\, and we'll elect someone to take a lap for you!
 \n\nBetterLife desired to do something to launch the new company in their 
 member communities. Unfortunately\, we all know that COVID-19 makes that d
 ifficult in early 2021. That’s why they decided to hold a BIG event for th
 eir first year as BetterLife\, which they're referring to as their Signatu
 re Event. After many ideas and considerations\, they landed on BetterLife’
 s Walk to End Hunger.\nThey've chosen a fundraising walk for a few reasons
 :\n1. It’s accessible. Members of the community can participate in several
  ways on the day of the event by helping to volunteer or donate to the cau
 se.\n2. We all assume that by summer\, COVID-19 should be less risky espec
 ially with an outdoor event. Members will likely be itching to get togethe
 r and do something big to help the community too.\n3. After 2020\, it’s cl
 ear how important hunger relief organizations are in our communities\, so 
 they decided to make them the target of their fundraising efforts.\n4. The
 ir members have asked for a bigger presence in member communities. A fundr
 aising walk helps get their name out into the community in a positive way.
