The CSS team is grateful to Lieutenant Governor Joe Kelly and Dawn-Renee Smith, Deputy Director - Rehabilitative Services for the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, for joining us on a tour of Catholic Social Services - Lincoln on Tuesday, November 18th. Afterward, Bishop James Conley, Tom Venzor, Executive Director of the Nebraska Catholic Conference, CSS Executive Director Katie Patrick, and Prison and Reentry Apostolate (PARA) Director Levi Baus met to discuss the current work of PARA and future projects. The event provided a valuable opportunity for the Church to foster a stronger working relationship with our dedicated State government officials.

For more information on PARA, including volunteer/support opportunities, connect with Levi Baus at lbaus@csshope.org or 402.327.6245.
