Ways to Give this Holiday Season

Here are a few ways you can bring "Hope in the Good Life" to our southern Nebraska neighbors during the holiday season and beyond!

LINCOLN

Lincoln Parish Adopt-A-Family

Join Catholic Social Services as we provide gifts for those in need this Christmas. 

Choose a family, purchase the gifts on their list, wrap up the gifts, and label the packages with the age and gender of each recipient. 

Drop off gifts at CSS (2241 O St Lincoln) from Monday, Dec 10, to Friday, Dec 13, 9am–4pm. Share your name with the Front Desk so that we can get the gifts to the correct family.

Lincoln Parish Gift Cards & Cash Donations

Join Catholic Social Services to provide assistance to individuals and families in need.

Visit one of the parishes listed above to place a gift card (suggestions: Walmart, Target, Menards, Super Saver, etc.) and cash donations into an envelope and place it in your parish collection plate.

Food Market Donations

Personal Care Items

Join Catholic Social Services to provide essential items to the homeless and our walk-in clients.

Items needed: Travel-size deodorant, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, individual toothbrushes, feminine products, travel-size bug spray and sunscreen, socks, winter hats and gloves, and hand warmers.

Bring your donations to our Lincoln offices (2241 O St.) during our normal business hours.

Financial assistance is needed to purchase crucial items for our clients.

AUBURN

Little Gifts of Hope

Used year-round to give our clients a small "pick-me-up"

  • New Kids Coats
  • New Gloves
  • Personal Care Items (Shampoo, Conditioner, Deodorant, Dish Soap, Laundry Soap, Toilet Paper, Toothbrushes, Baby Wipes)

Items can be dropped off at St. Francis Gift & Thrift during open store hours (Wednesday 10-2, Thursday 2-6, Saturday 9-1), or by calling Auburn Regional Director April Boellstorff at 402.327.6242 to schedule a drop-off time.

 Please drop off items before December 20th for Christmas giving. Items brought after December 20th will be gladly accepted & kept for giving throughout the year.

HASTINGS

Good Angel Toy Shoppe

(St. Anne in Doniphan, St. Michael's & St. Cecilia's in Hastings, Sacred Heart in Roseland)

Nov 30th- Dec 1st and Dec 7th- 8th: Choose an angel from the tree to donate food or toys to a family in need.

Holiday Food Donations

Donate hams to our food pantry. Items may be dropped off at our offices (click here for our office address and business hours.)

Monetary Contributions

Your financial assistance will help southcentral Nebraska neighbors needing a hand-up.

IMPERIAL

Advent Christmas Tree

We will have an Advent Christmas tree at St. Patrick's in Imperial. Choose an ornament with the dollar value of your choice for either a Visa gift card or grocery store gift card.

Donations for Christmas Food Baskets
