It’s time to tee it up again! The 30th annual CSS Memorial Golf Classic & Cookout is slated for Monday, September 14th at Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln. The first CSS golf tourney took place in September of 1996 and drew 24 teams. In a few short years, the tournament expanded to two flights accommodating up to 72 teams. In 1997, the tournament was held in memory of CSS employee Fran Walsh, who lost her life in an automobile accident the day after the first tournament was held in 1996. Each year, the tournament has been held in memory of an individual or couple who has made an impact in the Catholic community. We are honored to hold this year's event in memory of Tom and Margaret Tracy of Lincoln.
There are a number of ways you can support our Memorial Golf Classic & Cookout, even if you are not a golfer. Hole sponsorships and priest sponsorships are available, or you can make a memorial gift in honor of the Tracys or your loved one. The morning flight begins at 7:00 AM, the afternoon flight is at 1:00 PM. Team fees include carts, lunch, and a cookout for golfers/and a guest at 6:00 PM.
